Summer days in Alaska stretch nearly endlessly, with up to 20 hours of daylight on the Summer Solstice. Spanning 6.2 million acres, Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and attracts over half a million visitors annually. Doyon Limited and Aramark have teamed up in a Joint Venture as the Denali National Park & Preserve's Concessionaire. Open May to September, our operation manages the transportation, retail, guest service and food and beverage concessions with our client; The National Park Service. By road, our 100 Blue Bird Bus Fleet takes guests past the 15-mile public access point daily during summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp where few people have set foot.
This is a seasonal role with ideal dates of April 14 to October 1, 2025.

Employees are responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by Dept. Managers during EMS training.
Job Responsibilities
Housing Coordination:
- Ensure rooms are move-in ready and photo documented prior to arrivals and properly cleaned and inspected upon exit.
- Manage the allocation of housing assignments, ensuring efficient use of available space.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, providing assistance and support to residents or guests.
- Manage monthly room inspections checking for safety, health risks and cleanliness.
- Address housing-related concerns, facilitate conflict resolution, and liaise with maintenance staff for timely issue resolution.
- Manage employee guest visitor requests and approvals.
Activity Planning:
- Develop and implement a diverse range of engaging activities and events for residents or guests.
- Collaborate with community members or guests to gather feedback and preferences for activity planning.
- Source and negotiate contacts with vendors for off-site activities and events.
- Incorporate Aramark's 4-pillars of wellness as well as community involvement to foster overall employee wellness.
Communication and Promotion:
- Maintain clear and open communication with residents or guests regarding housing information, upcoming activities, and community updates.
- Utilize various communication channels to promote activities and events, fostering a sense of community engagement.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as the employee dining room, and security, to ensure seamless coordination of events.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to enhance the variety of available activities and resources.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of housing assignments, activity plans, attendance, and resident feedback.
- Generate regular reports on housing occupancy, activity participation, and budget utilization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in housing management, event planning, or community engagement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box when planning activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Customer-service-oriented with a positive and approachable demeanor.
