Job Description

The Environmental Services Mobilization Manager is responsible for overseeing the mobilization of new and vertical opportunity awards for client locations served by Aramark Healthcare+. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing remote and on-site operations, and ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Job Responsibilities

Project Mobilization:

  • Plan and coordinate the mobilization of environmental services, resources, and teams to healthcare project sites.
  • Develop and implement mobilization plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and logistics.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and transported to project sites.

Remote and On-Site Management:

  • Supervise and support remote and on-site teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Provide remote support and guidance to teams, ensuring adherence to project plans and protocols.

Collaboration and Space Validation:

  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead teams to validate space in the most efficient manner.
  • Identify obstacles and provide solutions.
  • Provide leadership to remote and onsite teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to the Region and client leadership.

Responsibilities Continued:

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and training programs for remote and on-site teams.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.

Resource Management:

  • Manage the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of resource usage and project expenses.

Client Relationships:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding project mobilization and progress.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues related to mobilization and project execution.

Standards and Best Practices:

  • Develop and implement standards and best practices for environmental services mobilization.
  • Ensure all team members are trained on and adhere to established standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve mobilization processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Project Management, or a related field and/or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in environmental services, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage remote teams and travel to project sites as needed.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in O&M, linen and laundry, patient transport, or similar fields in the healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Willingness to gain competency in areas beyond environmental services.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work remotely and travel to project sites as required- travel up to 90%
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Physical ability to perform site inspections and oversee on-site operations.

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
