B2B Vice President of Marketing and Communications

The B2B Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Collegiate Hospitality will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy. This executive will drive business-to-business (B2B) brand positioning and market leadership within the collegiate sector, ensuring Collegiate Hospitality is well-positioned to attract and retain key clients. The VP will work closely with the senior leadership across marketing, growth, and operations to influence decisions and develop an integrated go-to-market (GTM) strategy. This role involves shaping the brand narrative, fostering industry thought leadership, and driving lead generation and client engagement through innovative campaigns.

As a pivotal member of the leadership team, this role will also oversee the execution of high-impact marketing initiatives designed to elevate Aramark?s visibility and reputation. The VP will manage internal teams and external agency partners to deliver content and campaigns aligned with broader business goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong leadership to ensure the line of business continues to thrive in a competitive marketplace

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a line-of-business-wide communication strategy that enhances Aramark?s positioning in the collegiate market.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership teams (Marketing, Growth, Operations, Corporate Communications) to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Create and oversee the execution of a strategic editorial calendar that drives consistent messaging across channels, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and market opportunities.

Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Lead the planning and execution of organic and paid marketing campaigns, incorporating experiential design, brand storytelling, and targeted prospect outreach.
  • Use deep market insights and competitive analysis to create compelling, data-driven marketing strategies that resonate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure cohesive and high-quality campaign delivery across digital, print, social, video, and events.

Content Creation and Thought Leadership:

  • Spearhead the development of thought leadership content that positions Collegiate Hospitality as an industry leader, including white papers, case studies, conference presentations, and social media strategies.
  • Tailor marketing content to specific target audiences and key segments, leveraging industry insights and emerging trends to showcase Aramark?s capabilities.
  • Oversee the creation of content for a variety of platforms, including websites, virtual and live events, social media, and executive communications.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team capable of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders, including corporate SMEs, sales leaders, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of marketing initiatives.

Technology and Analytics:

  • Utilize marketing technologies (for example but not limited to Salesforce, AEM, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, StackAdapt, LinkedIn) and project management tools to drive efficiency and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and continuously optimize performance based on results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on marketing strategy, campaign execution, and brand positioning, preferably in the service sector.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale marketing projects from concept to completion.
  • Expertise in utilizing marketing technologies such as Salesforce, AEM, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn and other leading B2B technologies to drive lead generation and campaign success.
  • Demonstrated experience to identify and manage external agencies end to end to deliver against business objectives - RFI, SOW, milestones/timelines and budget.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive results.

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $170,000 to $195,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
