The Product System Engineer is responsible for the analysis of Customer Requests on SYS.1 level. In SYS.2 this employ will specify and describe the Use Cases and the Functions, as Product System Requirements (in the Product Definition Document - PDD).

Your Role
- Requirement Analysis & Documentation: Experience in writing and managing product requirements based on customer needs, ensuring clear stakeholder-defined scope.
- Experience in customer/stakeholder requirements analysis using Polarion/DOORS (Polarion preferred)
- Strong domain knowledge of ADAS
- Preparation of system architecture/design
- Experience in systems engineering process areas SYS.1, SYS.2, SYS.3
- Experience (or exposure) in Body Control Module (BCM) ECU
- Experience in Automotive domain with basic understanding of CAN, Ethernet, Diagnostics.

Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or a comparable field of study.
- #EXP[7-10]
- Analyze and ensure Stakeholder Requirements (scope of the work requested by customer) are clearly defined
- Conduct team (Electrical Mechanical, Software, Validation,
- Manufacturing) review of requirements, create and maintain requirements analysis reports (RAR) as per Aptiv system process.
- Coordinates and aligns Product requirements with all affected competencies and ensures review of Product requirements and clarification of resulting issues
- Clarifies open questions with customer with support from Product Systems Feature /Function Lead (Owner)
- Create and maintain customer/product requirements specification, System Architecture document and establish traceability.
- Lead the product change management process (software/hardware etc.)
- Root cause analysis, simulation of issues reported by customer, on need basis
- Perform system level tests
- Participates in Program Increment Planning, System check out tests, System Demos and Retrospectives
