SQA Program Launch Leader
We engineer and manufacture a full range of power and signal distribution systems, including the high-speed data and high-power electrical systems needed to build feature-rich, highly automated, electric vehicles.
Job Summary:
The SQA Program Launch Leader provides guidance to the SQA team to enhance and improve their timely execution of product development process activities during the ongoing efforts to achieve flawless customer program launch objectives. The SQA Launch Lead will regularly interact with various internal functions to achieve those goals.
General Functions:
- Provide and manage Project Plans in-line with customer and Aptiv requirements.
- Own launch responsibility for assigned programs ensuring that PPAP activities for all projects are completed on a timely basis.
- Work with Program Management to clearly define and document goals and objectives of new program launches.
- Provide consistent feedback to PLPL regarding status of component part number PPAP compliance.
- Act as the main interface between PLPL and suppliers.
- Attend multiple program meetings/conference calls with PLPL as needed allowing other SQA team members to focus work on program related activities.
- Inform PLPL teams about potential supplier issues with a part number.
- Act as the main launch interface for reporting status on all projects to PLPL on a weekly basis.
- Complete weekly metrics reports for program and other launch related activities.
- Attend weekly Status Meetings with all production areas to ensure that timing targets are being achieved.
- Ensure launch timing due dates for critical path items are communicated to the SQA Team for compliance targets.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience using AIAG Automotive Quality guidelines (APQP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, PFMEA)
