Software Project Manager

Position Summary:
We're seeking highly motivated SW Project Manager to plan, track and drive internal and customer demonstrations of our innovative platform solutions up to autonomy level 4.
Aptiv's ADAS software provides an array of advanced safety and comfort features flexibly across four major variants: Core, Plus, Pro and Ultra. Our modern software platform improves updatability, drives flexibility, and enables lifecycle management. All variants leverage a service-based software architecture with open APIs between containers to increase modularity. In this role you will be demonstrating our innovations by working as part of a global Technical Program Management and engineering team to plan, align, track and ensure high performing demo's for top key stakeholders internally as well as potential and existing customers.

Own and ensure high-quality, at-cost, and on-time delivery of the assigned product
- Own end-to-end project planning phases for active safety feature product demonstrations to support new business pursuits, fairs and product launches
- Track and assess project delivery targets, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints
- Develop program schedules by considering various dependencies, negotiate and create a staffing plan that supports the schedule
- Define program priorities and goals for engineering teams during Agile Big Room Planning
- Ensure compliance with project development processes and organizational transformation initiatives
- Conduct program steering meetings with cross-functional teams to review component implementation timing plans
Collaborate with Customer / Stakeholders to ensure flawless deliveries
- Responsible for understanding customer technology road-map and building relationships with key customers
- Lead and interface with cross-functional teams - Program management, Systems, Software, Suppliers, VT&V - to define and drive development plans, ensuring on time SW delivery with highest quality
- Manage development vehicle priorities and allocations among SW development teams to support prototype testing and data collection activities
- Serve as a single point of contact for internal and external communications at both technical and executive levels
Project Monitoring & Reporting:
- Evaluate feature software content releases each sprint for embedded builds
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigations and/or recovery plans in event of projects
- Create and maintain Jira dashboards to track progress and timely closure of issue tickets
- Monitor the customer requirement reviews, implementation and testing progress using polarion system
- Facilitate effective communication to drive alignment within the team as well as to a broad stakeholder and management leadership
Basic Requirements:
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Management or related technical field
- 3+ years working experience in product or feature development on hardware, software, and/or services
- Experience with managing Agile projects using modern work management tools (ex. JIRA, Polarion) - nice to have
- Strong motivation to learn new technologies like AI based approached to L2+ urban systems
- Strong entrepreneurial attitude, high level of motivation and dedication
- Ability to drive full ownership of delivery for a specific product
- Proven ability to clearly communicate program information to stakeholders at various levels of the organization at demanding exposure (written and verbal)
- Experience in Software Project Management
- Problem solving & negotiating skills
- Ability to speak, to read and to write English
