About Position
As an FEA analyst, you will perform vibration and structural analysis of various connection systems and Electrical Center products using Abaqus/Ansys software and provide design suggestions/recommendations to the product engineer for optimization. You will be required to work closely with product engineers and collaborate with the team to deliver high quality FE Analysis reports and recommendations in a timely manner.
Job responsibilities
- Able to Conduct static, transient, linear, nonlinear, modal, harmonic, random, Shock, drop, fatigue (LCF/HCF), thermal cycling & structural analysis using ABAQUS/ANSYS Solvers.
- Generation of finite element models for ABAQUS/ANSYS Solvers, including assembly, definition of boundary conditions and quality checks.
- Perform Post-processing, result interpretation and verification of Finite Element Analysis results using hand calculation and other analytical methods.
- Prepare analysis reports and discuss results with product engineers by providing design recommendations to ensure design optimization and manufacturability.
- Plan the analysis and complete the FEA process in discussion with the team leader.
- Ensure reports are submitted on time to meet project deadlines.
- Continue to work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of project implementation.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Mechatronics Engineering; Master's in Engineering Design/Computer Aided Design;
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in Automotive BIW/Sheetmetal, Plastics, Electrical/Electronic Components Vibration/Structural/Durability Analysis.
- Practical skills in vibration/structural/durability analysis using Abaqus/ANSYS or other FEA software.
- A stronger foundation of Material science, plastic material properties, finite element methods, solid mechanics, fracture mechanics, mechanical vibrations, fatigue.
- Good understanding of vibration validation testing and correlation.
- Competence in manufacturing feasibility skills and its application.
- A good communicator, open for challenges, explores full potential to achieve goals.
- Team player who actively collaborate and contribute to achieve the team goals. Highly motivated and help the team to achieve the goals together.
- Self-driven and strong passion in achieving results. Highly accountable for the actions and act as owner.
- Problem solving and analytical thinking, curious to learn continuously and believes in self-development.
- Go getter and passionate to travels extra mile to bring as part of continuous improvement.
- Creative in thinking, innovative mindset and does not settle for less.
