The European Sales Manager Distribution position reports to the Sales Director.

Your Tasks

  • Implement strategy and define policies to support CS Distribution business plans and strengthen sales through distribution channels
  • Work closely within and with the Aptiv organization to promote CS products through selected Connection Systems distributors
  • Cover the EMEA region and manage Distributor Account Manager, team, inside sales distributors and others who support distribution sales as required

- Expand existing distribution channels
- Develop new distribution channels

- Develop, review, enforce and adapt Distributor policies such as: forecasts, inventory rotations, MOQs, pricing etc.

  • Develop and market Aptiv Connection Systems "brand image" and "value proposition" to our distribution partners
  • Develop and manage budget plans
  • Support marketing programs

Build an effective, high performance, PM functional team

Your Background

  • Very good analytical and business skills
  • Very good sales and relationship skills, especially at the top management levels
  • The ability to solve problems in complex matrix organizations in order to achieve consensus when necessary
  • Engineering or marketing degree or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in sales / marketing for electronic components
  • Great willingness to travel
