This position is part of our Electrical Distribution Systems segment.
We engineer and manufacture a full range of power and signal distribution systems, including the high-speed data and high-power electrical systems needed to build feature-rich, highly automated, electric vehicles.
Position Summary
The Test Engineer is a professional in charge of developing, optimizing and maintaining the Test processes which play an important role in providing safe coverage and compliance to the Quality specifications of the products we ship to our customers. The Test Engineer ensures that the correct test strategy is applied for each product and process.

- Monitoring and verification of compliance with quality system improvement activities as well as FTQ.
- Communication with customers and CSE's about product quality.
- Coordinate activities to avoid NON conformance in Internal and External audits.
- Leadership in the elaboration of analysis of problems reported by the customer and audits through the use of quality tools, returned and validated on time.
- Execution of strategies and activities that optimize the use of human, financial, material and technical resources.
- Ensure the response to customer feedback and CSE's on time.
- Monitor the budget against the expenditure allocated to the department.
- Maintain the DBS process and implementations in his department.
- Execution of strategies to ensure compliance with the quality system in the plant.
- Development of cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
- Authority to provide feedback on unsafe acts and conditions.
Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Skype, Visio, Teams, etc.).
- Problem Solving tools (Core Tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma)
- Team Leader
Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Fluent English.
- +2 years of experience in a similar position or related.
- Experience working in the automotive industry.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently.
- Ability and Problem Solving Skills.
