Your Role

As a key member of the Product Development Team, you will be technically challenged within a global environment, playing a critical role in Aptiv's user experience product evolution. You will steer development activities for a crucial customers from Germany. You'll have the chance to develop yourself and expanding your role acting in projects ranging from product maintenance and change towards full responsibility for the planning, execution and delivery of deliverables to "your" customer at time and cost.

Your new role is working in an exciting area that has lots of opportunity to grow and expand over time as you make the role your own.

  • Management activities through launch, managing KPI's, maintaining schedules, staying on target for goals across cost, quality, time, delivery and methodology.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and manage deliverables to meet milestones
  • Manage risk activities; escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Cost & budget management. Planning and tracking expenditure and ensuring margins maintained. Ensure financial goals around profitability and costs are met as agreed.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution
  • Ensure customer and supplier relationships are smooth
  • Compliance with PDP requirements.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technical discipline, relevant experience considered in substitute.
  • Experience within Automotive/ Engineering/ Electrical Engineering industry preferred.
  • A proven track record of successful international project delivery and leadership skills, including ownership of business targets and industrialization
  • Agile methodology knowledge - nice to have.
  • Understanding of project financials, budgets and material costs.
  • Fluent English language proficiency
  • Knowledge of German language - nice-to-have
