Your Role:
- Lead a team of systems engineers. In this role, you are in particular responsible for:
- Estimation and planning of the systems resources required for the development of the electronic control units
- Creation and maintenance of the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
- Prioritization, planning and tracking of the necessary systems activities with the objective to meet the project goals in regards to project timing, costs and quality
- The interface to the customer for all technical questions in the system scope of the developed product
- Managing and tracking all competencies in regards to analysis and clarification, evaluation of change requests and resolution of system issues
- Ensuring on time completion of systems work products both with regard to customer milestones and APTIV internal milestones related to APTIVs product development process (PDP)
- Ensuring that system activities comply with APTIV processes and methods
- Supporting the release planning and the creation of release and delivery documentation
- Reporting of requirement status and status of systems activities

- Support the project team with detailed knowledge of specific customer expectations and requirements (e.g. customer standards) and continuously expand this knowledge;
- Build & maintain business relationships with our customers' engineering teams
Your Background:
- University/college degree in engineering sciences or comparable knowledge and skills acquired through professional experience and further education (R)
- Expert knowledge about the development of embedded systems (R)
- Experience in leading small teams (P)
- Experience with development reference models and methodologies like ASPICE or Agile (P)
- Business fluent English, spoken and written (R)
- High analytical thinking ability (R)
- Very good organizational and management skills (R)
