The HR Director Poland leads the country human resources function. Focused on the Krakow Technical Center and coordinating selected global processes with our Plants in Gdansk and Jeleśnia, you will drive the HR operations, as well as the strategic HR initiatives in Poland.

Your Role:

  • Building out a HR community in Poland across segments and functions. Driving HR engagement, career pathing and innovation within the function in Poland
  • Maintaining strong relationship with key business and corporate stakeholders; connecting the local agenda with the regional and global objectives set by Aptiv
  • Steward of the APTIV culture in Krakow. Working with Leaders across segments to drive a One Aptiv approach
  • Pro-actively addressing any gaps or risks associated with talent attraction, retention and engagement in the location
  • Supporting Global HR Projects impacting employees in Poland. Recognized as a Change Champion in all transitions/structural and business changes for the Technical Center in Krakow, coordinating with Plants as needed
  • Supporting annual compensation & performance cycles, partnering with global HR COEs as needed. Coaching people managers on the process, monitoring progress and successful execution of the global standard
  • Developing a roadmap of the key technical competencies in the site and leveraging it to assure appropriate skills in the teams
  • Execution of the communications strategy for the Krakow Technical Center. This includes meeting cadence, form, audience and content
  • Partnering with global legal & compliance functions as needed
  • Managing employee relations for the Krakow location. Driving high performance culture, facilitating dialogue with employee representation, provide advice on HR policies and regulations
  • Staffing Management - monitoring staffing needs in partnership with Segment business leaders, Monitoring overall progress of recruiting activities and addressing challenges as they occur
  • Monitoring people metrics for the Krakow Technical Center according to the standard defined for the location and Segment. Ensuring that actions are in place to address shortfalls. Reporting as appropriate

Your Background:

  • Master 's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field
  • Experience in HR Leader or Business Partner positions or proven experience in at least 3 HR Focus Areas: Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Generalist, HR Operations, HRIS, Learning & Development - at least 5 years
  • Experienced people leader
  • Ability to build relationships and work with various different stakeholders
  • Exceptional Communication skills and ability to facilitate conflict
  • Proven Ability to influence without direct authority and can-do attitude
  • Strong people and business focus, understanding company's business model and direction
  • Ability to link people cost with business outcomes and financial targets
  • Practical Knowledge of general labor law related matters in different geographies and continents as well as cultural differences
  • Fluent command in spoken and written English
