This position is part of our Active Safety & User Experience segment.

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Director of Field Marketing to lead our global field marketing team for our software products. This position will report to the VP of Marketing and oversee a team of Field Marketing Managers in regions. The Global Director will be instrumental in shaping and executing regional marketing strategies that align with global business objectives, drive revenue growth, and enhance brand presence across diverse markets.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Tailor and implement the global marketing strategy in regions ensuring each region's unique market dynamics are considered.
  • Demand Generation: Collaborate with regional managers to adapt and execute tailored marketing campaigns that resonate with local audiences. Drive the successful roll-out of demand generation initiatives, focused on creating a marketing-sourced pipeline while working closely with sales teams to optimize the lead funnel and enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of five Senior Field Marketing Managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture while providing guidance on regional marketing strategies and performance metrics.
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly analyze and report on regional marketing successes and challenges. Create and disseminate weekly highlights from the field to internal stakeholders, showcasing key metrics, achievements, and lessons learned.
  • KPI Monitoring: Establish and monitor critical regional marketing KPIs. Utilize analytics tools, Salesforce.com, and Marketo to track campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of global and regional events, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Manage logistics, budgeting, promotion, and post-event analysis to drive attendance and lead generation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and corporate marketing teams to ensure alignment of strategies and messaging across all regions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in regional marketing. Utilize insights to drive innovation and adapt strategies as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in field marketing, with a strong emphasis on global or regional strategy development.
  • Proven track record of leading successful marketing programs and initiatives across multiple regions.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and other marketing automation tools.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance evaluation.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and innovate within a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving targets and driving business growth.
