Your Role:
  • Overall scope is to act as advisor & partner to the Connection Systems president and executive BU team, supporting wherever necessary to ensure successful business operations
  • Key role responsibilities include, all in concert with the President and Executive team:
    • Shape management review priorities and operating cadence of the global business
      • Establish & manage weekly/monthly/annual operating cadence
      • Set the agenda for weekly Global staff call and other executive reviews
    • Plan & execute global CS internal communication strategy
      • Drive & coordinate quarterly all employee broadcasts
      • Draft presidential communications (emails, speeches, etc.)
      • Coordinate and provide feedback on leadership conferences
    • Drive management review preparation; facilitate business discussions & report outs
      • Coordinate material preparation for critical Corp. business reviews (MBRs, CB1s, Board Meetings, CEO Letter, etc.)
      • Draft materials & perform analysis that the President will leverage in the same reviews
      • Filter and revise materials from the team to ensure ‘executive' quality
    • Guide functional & regional stakeholders, acting as representative of the president
      • Communicate & explain direction of the president to the functional & regional CS teams
      • Partner & give advice to the team on completing assignments
      • Follow-ups to ensure work is completed on-time/in-line with expectations
      • Work closely with the functional and regional Business Planners
    • Determine and execute other ad-hoc and re-occurring business initiatives that will drive business operations
  • Your Background:

    The ideal candidate has demonstrated highly structured thinking and organizational abilities with excellent written communication & interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of experience, within a relative role, effectively organizing, prioritizing and accomplishing multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and influence senior leadership as well as employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written communication, including the ability to develop polished visuals (PowerPoint) and write concise but comprehensive executive summaries
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
  • Highly motivated candidate with a track record of strong performance and career progression
  • Experience working within automotive industry or with automotive clients
  • Interest and/or domain expertise in areas relevant for our business (e.g. automotive, wire harness, connectors, etc.)
  • BA/BS in a relevant field of study
  • Holder of a valid U.S. Passport, with ability to travel domestically or internationally
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA Degree
  • Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Finance experience
