Position Summary

Provide accurate financial information to help develop best practices in cost and expense control as well as assist in budget development, ensure proper accounting and monthly closing of the company's financial statements.

Your Role

Manage IAS NA actual / forecast / budget reports (in Schedule B format) with split between Mexico legal entity (PN1 / E00793) and US legal entities (S4 / E00151 + PN1 / E00129), responsible monthly financial close

Sales / material tracking @ PN / client program level (monthly actual / forecast, weekly sales flashes, annual budget)

Cost center level expense planning and tracking for:

Manufacturing costs in Mexico - personnel costs / overhead, including approval of monthly maquila invoice from Mexico LE to US.

US selling, general and administrative/engineering costs - personnel/engineering development costs and prototype costs, including monthly (or quarterly) rebilling of US costs from PN1 cost centers (payroll processing outsourced to Aptiv HR) to S4 cost centers.

Warehousing and logistics costs".

Plan and track Capital / OpEx per project

Manage customer / vendor / material master data for US company code in SAP S4

Develop standard costing for Saltillo plant in SAP S4

Perform month end close activities in SAP S4 including costing / cost accrual / allied activity reconciliations / depreciation in SAP S4.

Submit and approve monthly trial balance E00151 (U.S. entity outside S4) in HFM

Review and approve monthly trial balance for E00793 (Mexico entity outside of S4)

Quarterly submission of foreign exchange exposure data in Reval for IAS NA entities.

Perform quarterly SOX subcertification for IAS NA.

Provide supporting documentation for quarterly AMMS entries.

Perform monthly reconciliations for all E00151 entity BS accounts in SAP S4.

Provide supporting data for US sales / indirect tax reporting for the E00151 entity.

Manage customer collections and vendor payments for the E00151 entity with support from the IAS treasury team in Italy.

Perform financial/accounting review of all eRequests for purchases in Mexico.

Support the issuance of purchase orders from SAP S4.

Coordinate annual physical inventory in Saltillo

Your Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Internal work regulations
  • Knowledge of SAP (ECC and S4 Hana versions)
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP accounting
