Your Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Boston corporate office, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, and the expertise to implement best practices in facility management.

Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring all building systems and services run smoothly, including security, cleaning, HVAC, and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections to uphold safety, compliance, and cleanliness standards.
2. Vendor and Contract Management
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring contract compliance and service quality.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor budgets for cost-effective solutions without compromising standards.
3. Space Planning and Optimization
- Monitor and optimize office space to accommodate organizational growth and evolving team needs.
- Maintain updated seating plans and support employee relocations, new hires, and workspace assignments.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing facility-related needs and coordinating support for meetings and events.
- Collaborate with external partners, including building management and service providers, to ensure consistent standards and service delivery.
5. Employee Experience and Engagement
- Foster a welcoming and productive environment by addressing employee facility requests promptly and professionally.
- Implement and promote workplace sustainability initiatives, such as energy efficiency and waste reduction programs.
6. Financial Oversight
- Responsible for managing operating expenditure performance across multiple sites, ensuring budgets are tracked closely and risks are mitigated effectively.
- Approve and process invoices, maintain accurate financial records, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality.
Your Background
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications (must have)
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in facility management or a similar role within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, office technologies, and health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and manage additional regional offices as needed.
- Must be a local resident of Boston with ability to work on site daily
