We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Configuration and Release Manager to join our team.

Your Role

  • Develops and maintains the project / platform / program specific Configuration Management Plan.
  • Specifies configuration item types to define requirements for change of work products.
  • Defines and specifies naming conventions for work products, version history, releases and baselines.
  • Provide Configuration Management Expertise (Storage location for new documents).
  • Identifies the work products which are required by the project using Configuration Item Master List.
  • Define together with the Project Management the Baseline Audit Milestones.
  • Creates Configuration Status Report and communicate to the project / platform / program
  • Setup Tool Infrastructure (Software Configuration Management)
  • Makes decisions regarding Configuration Items together with CI owner
  • Responsible for Sup.8 process closure activities during Close & Transfer Gate
  • Represent Sup.8 process during ASPICE external as well as internal assessments
  • Supports the Release Manager by ensuring that all work products are baselined and under configuration control for a PI and release.
  • Pre-Checks on CIs before Baseline Audits (i.e. to understand scope of CIs required for Baseline Audit)
  • Check/Verify CIs related to Release / PI / project milestone

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering graduate BE/ B. Tech / ME/ M. Tech (Electronics / Electricals / Computer)
  • #EXP[12-17]
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ Minimum years of experience with configuration/change management
  • Experience with requirements management
  • Strong understanding of document control principles and best practices
  • Release Management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Involved or lead ASPICE audit process
  • Conducted or managed process gate reviews
  • CI pipeline and tool chain experience
  • Expertise in design, implementation of build, integration & release process
  • Branching stratergy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • SW and Sys backgound
  • Processes & Tools : ITIL (Incident/Change/Problem Management)
  • SCRUM, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint and Polarion
