About Role:
- Project collaboration in the acquisition of new business
- Customer interface for account management
- Responsibility for the sales account and the development of series projects (negotiations with customers - change management - cost tracking - volume tracking)
- Support with tenders for new and global procurement requests (including price information and preparation of tender documents)
- Preparation of KPI data and figures
- Maintenance of the customer database
- Implementation and support of the change management process and change cost estimation (calculation request, pricing, internal price approval, price offer)
- Collaboration with production companies, product management and engineering
- Tracking of special costs (prototypes, special offers, investments, etc.)
- Support in achieving profit targets
- Invoicing for development services, samples & prototypes and special orders
- Tracking overdue payments for special invoices
- Close collaboration with the Asia team
- Collaboration with the customer team in all functions, especially in controlling

Your Background:
- Completed studies in business administration, Engineering or comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
- Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and wiring harness products is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Deep understanding of pricing and cost calculation
- Ability to quickly understand contexts and find your way around a complex environment
- Self-reliant and team-oriented work
- Strong preference for candidates who are passionate about developing new business opportunities
- Must have an extensive and established network within the BMW (EDS) ecosystem.
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives and foster partnerships for business growth.
- Proven experience in business development in the automotive industry or related industries.
- Very good language skills in German and English (spoken and written)
- Good MS Office skills
- Willingness to travel
