TEAM OVERVIEW:
Applied Materials' Global Services Department is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2025 as part of the Knowledge Management team! The Knowledge Management (KM) team provides relevant and timely service knowledge to field engineers at the point of service, and develops and maintains channels and methods for knowledge distribution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to monitor and report on Knowledge Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Support content migration projects
- Collaborate with team members to develop automation for migration projects
- Assist the Knowledge Management team to analyze and optimize publishing libraries content and document metadata management activities
- Audit content to ensure alignment to content management principles, style guides, and business rules
- Provide support to assigned projects, such as ensuring content management processes are effective
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Proficient with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Share Point/ Teams
- Preferred skills: Tableau, Python, SQL coding
- Nice-to-have skills: basic Project Management skills, project collaboration, SPARQL coding
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or a related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Skills in data analytics
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Quick learner
- Strong attention to details
- Added advantage: ability to speak and write fluently or native speaker in one or more of these languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian in addition to English
