Key Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of 3PL onsite logistics operations. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, quality standards, and customer specifications.
  • Support and coordinate with logistics manager and senior colleagues to implement logistics strategies and policies to support business objectives and customer satisfaction. Align logistics operations with internal and external stakeholders, such as FSO, GRFO, CBM, Finance, Quality, and 3PL.
  • Support and assist logistics manager and senior colleagues to manage and optimize logistics costs and service levels. Review 3PL invoices for accuracy, monitor spending and keep within commits. Maintain contracts and service level agreements with 3PL and other logistics service providers. Evaluate and select vendors based on performance, quality, and cost criteria.
  • Collect and report logistics metrics and KPI's to measure and improve logistics performance. Ensure that operations adhere to SOP process. Ensure non-conformance reporting, analyze data and trends to identify root causes, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Support and participate in corrective and preventive actions with appropriate groups.
  • Support and participate in cross-functional and cross-regional projects and initiatives to enhance logistics capabilities and processes. Collaborate with AGS Logistics team and 3PL to implement best practices, copy exact, and standardization.

Functional Knowledge

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Has intermediate level of knowledge of logistics operations, systems, and tools, such as SAP.
  • Able to collect and analyze data in order to solve problems, improve processes and make decisions.
  • Has intermediate level of knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for logistics, such as Incoterms, customs, trade compliance, and security.

Business Expertise

  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Has knowledge of semiconductor equipment industry and customer expectations for logistics service and quality.
  • Has basic knowledge of financial and budgetary aspects of logistics operations and cost management.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may support small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills, such as communication, collaboration, decision making, and problem solving.
  • Supports and follows the guidance of logistics manager and senior colleagues to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Applies analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve logistics issues and challenges.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or above in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Languages: Must be fluent in English, both writing and speaking.
  • Years of Experience: Over 5 years of logistics work experience, preferably in the semiconductor equipment industry or a similar high-tech environment.

  • Travel: Yes, 15% of the time within the country and overseas.
