Computer Integrated Manufacturing Program Management
Applied Materials is the leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce virtually every new chip and advanced display in the world.
Based in Bangalore, this program management resource should have strong collaborating skills while working with project managers and their technical leads. They will monitor / analyze the project plans and coordinates the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
The senior program manager is responsible for successful execution of Applied Materials' Automation Product Group's deployments. A successful candidate will have experience managing large technical projects involving all or multiple applications in the CIM environment. Additionally the resource will work closely with the PMO, acts as a mentor for other less experienced PMs, and helps ensure quality delivery (on time, within budget, meets requirements) of other projects within the program.

- Monitoring and support the global project status/progress.
- Improvement the project planning and execution with the project managers and the tech leaders.
- Technically leads and/or executes difficult, complex software projects.
- Interfaces with external customers or vendors regarding software issues.
- Interfaces with internal customers regarding process, requirements analysis and schedule.
- Compiles data for regularly scheduled or special reports, analysis and statements.
- Conform and adhere to PMO standards.
- Work with sales and technical teams during sales cycle to develop proposals.
Functional Knowledge
- PMP Certified
- Working knowledge of applications in semiconductor CIM environment such as MES, MCS, APC, Recipe Management, Equipment Automation, etc.
- Proficiency using commonly used PM software programs such as MS Project
Business Expertise
- Experience managing budgets.
- Understands customer KPIs, business unit KPIs, and impact of our projects on those KPIs.
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Adept at communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and managing relationships.
