We are marketers, strategists, creatives, producers and program managers whose role it is to help Apple Retail care for our customers and elevate our teams. We build insights, experiences and programs all in service of bringing together the very best of Apple to help us reach more people, grow our business, and enrich lives. In this Senior Manager role, you will work in a range of capacities from supporting strategic planning, through portfolio management and governance, and down to managing programs including NPI Readiness. In addition, you will play a key role in the delivery of strategic programs with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively. Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager that embodies our culture, core values and compassion for others. You will be managing complex, large scale global, cross-functional programs. The successful candidate must have experience initiating, managing and enhancing business processes and system infrastructure programs. Critical to the role will be the ability to communicate and partner across the organization with business groups and regional teams. You have a genuine passion for improving the way we work and serve as "stitchers" to connect the dots and ability to see the big picture with an end-to-end view.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leading a portfolio of complex global programs
  • 6+ years of leadership and people management experience
  • Ability to manage resources globally, balancing priorities and the business needs across 5+ cross functional teams
  • Experience leading global system implementations such as HRIS, SAP, eCommerce or Retail systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12+ years of leading a portfolio of global programs
  • 8+ years of leadership and people management experience
  • High proficiency in creating keynote presentations to executive team and can implement pivot tables for Excel
  • Deep understanding of project, program and portfolio planning and delivery to the level that they can set standards, implement process improvements and coach team members
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
  • Ability to lead and develop a hard-working team
  • Demonstrable ability to personally deliver large scale initiatives quickly, with high levels of complexity and ambiguity
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships cross functionally
  • Ability to develop new strategies and options for projects and programs, champion for continuous improvements
  • Ability to drive rapid response for critical programs/crisis management
  • Acting as a Program Management Office function for key cross-functional initiatives within the Retail organization
  • Solid ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization. Builds bridges and cultivate relationships; comfortable being a key point of contact and subject matter authority

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $317,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
