The Worldwide Product Configuration Management (WPCM) Change Analyst collaborates with various multi-functional teams to ensure production readiness for all Apple and Beats hardware products. WPCM Change Analysts focus on three main areas: Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) change analysis, configuration management, and general product administrative support. We operate in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple product categories in various development stages. We are frequently called upon to solve and analyze issues, offering short- and long-term solutions while considering the impact on other teams and tools. We are dedicated to implementing efficient and adaptable change management systems and work closely with key partners to improve the quality of Apple products through improved processes! WPCM Change Analysts are responsible for processing and validating engineering change forms in Apple's PLM system. Each change form requires analysis to ensure it follows company policy and provides timely and concise feedback to the originator when vital. Change Analysts also serve as the first line of support for PLM customers, offering general training on PLM, policies, and procedures, and influencing teams to meet program documentation release milestones.

Description

- Manage the project plan related to documentation release landmarks - Receive and audit Bill of Materials structure during development, design, procurement, configuration, and service requirements - Collaborate with Product Marketing to define the top-level SKUs that support product configurations - Regularly participate in and lead multi-functional meetings to establish deliverable schedules and assist regional teams in executing tasks to achieve global production readiness. - Develop and maintain processes, policies, and tools that consistently define and manage the critical data of the new product release and change process - Provide ongoing training that informs, teaches, and increases engagement levels with cross-functional teams in new and informative ways. - Occasionally provide off-hours support during high-volume periods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years relevant proven Change Management experience and AA degree in technical field
  • Experience with PLM Tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP Tool
  • Expertise in documentation control and change management standard methodologies
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Outstanding time management: can easily multi-task and prioritize; looks ahead to manage known day-to-day tasks to support unforeseeable needs that may arise
  • Is motivated to proactively seek out answers, independently applying resources
  • Embraces and promotes change within an organization to adapt with evolving business needs; drives administrative requirements vital to facilitate change

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,100 and $222,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
