Description
This role will build, develop, implement and manage a sales structure, sales team and set of strategies that align to Apple and the partner's growth strategies with an outcome of expanding adoption of the Apple platform in enterprise. You will influence and inspire the channel partner through a diverse set of executive level collaborators within the partner and the Apple ecosystem. This individual will drive strategies and tactics to attract new, and expand existing customers. This sales motion will be delivered through a dedicated channel sales and technical team focused on solution based outcomes oriented around growth. Through crafting cross-functional, targeted and strategic development plans, you will ensure that services, product knowledge, product offers and long term plans are implemented to the highest standard. These plans and strategies will be driven through your ability to collaborate cross functionally with Apple Finance, AppleCare, Systems Engineers, Apple Financial Services, Reseller Ops, Marketing, Training, and supply teams. The role requires leading strategic account and segment planning with Apple and the reseller, presenting plans to Apple and partner leadership, and delivering on plans through your sales team with a goal of growing Apple's share within the partner. Regularly assess and communicate the strength and effectiveness of your sales team and the reseller partnership. Identify new business opportunities and support them through closure. Make certain that any client issues and/or concerns are raised and addressed. Share status, progress and facilitate sales activity across the reseller and Apple sales teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Approximately 10 years + of proven experience working with channel and/or enterprise sales organizations of which 5+years includes sales management / leadership.
- Demonstrate a passion, energy and focus on developing and growing a $1B+ business.
- Experience in developing and nurturing executive leadership relationships resulting in growth oriented outcomes.
- You empower others to learn, to be curious and ultimately, share your passion for the Apple story all while doing their best work. Through your confidence you can articulate with a clear ability to influence others; ability to learn quickly, navigate adversity, and meet the need of Apple employees, partners and our mutual customers.
- Ability to facilitate collaboratively in cross-functional decision-making and swiftly move ideas to execution
- Strategic problem solver who demonstrates data and industry insights to inform vision and executable plans to be delivered through a sales organization.
- Understanding of the Enterprise end customer landscape.
- Deep knowledge in the adoption of Apple in Enterprise and how this translates to the skills and knowledge required by our Reseller Channel
- Proven expertise growing channel enterprise sales across commercial segments
- Successful working both independently and as a sales leader with ability to bring to bear and activate cross-functional teams
- Stay abreast of market trends, partners' platform capabilities and strategic plans for new partnership opportunities
- Consistently display the highest level of ethics, values, and integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- You have consultative selling experience in business transformation solutions and developing channel growth strategies for enterprise customers.
- You have built, managed and developed capability and skills within a channel sales teams focused on delivering technology solutions through channels to enterprise customers.
- In your experience, you've balanced delivering on short-term goals, while creating sustainable value for customers and partners, and demand for the future.
- You have developed and nurtured high level channel partner relationships with win- win outcomes.
- You are a self starter with a proven track record of delivering high impact results.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $159,500 and $239,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
