You will develop and lead business engagements with external partners and Apple's engineering and product organizations to establish next-generation special projects, technologies, and services at Apple. In this role, you will leverage and develop a keen understanding of worldwide Mobile Satellite (MSS) Spectrum interests and issues, related competitive dynamics, complex commercial agreements, intellectual property, and operations. You will be responsible for outcomes that require creative problem solving and effective deals in collaboration with other stakeholders at Apple and external partners.

Commercial or related technical expertise securing, perfecting, or collaborating with other parties on deals to develop and manage worldwide satellite spectrum rights, including with other commercial entities and government agencies like the FCC. Ability to navigate ambiguity and apply structure and principles and distill to the essence for concise presentations and decisions with senior executives Experience managing business development and strategy efforts for emerging technologies, including third-party relationships, technology partnerships and development agreements for operating businesses or supply chains Knowledge and comfort with commercial contracts and the ability to creatively solve complex situations. Knowledge of licensing and intellectual property is a plus Adept at working cross-functionally with a variety of partners including Engineering, Content, Legal, Marketing, Finance, etc. Experience enabling first-of-a-kind products, services, or technologies at hardware or software companies. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 10+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, PHD, MS or JD preferred
- Willingness to travel (10-20% of time)
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,400 and $268,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
