We have a newly created team to support some of Apple's most Strategic Deals and Services. In this role, you will be the Finance Lead for assessing performance with one of our multi-billion dollar businesses, forecasting future performance by partner, and identifying risks and opportunities. You'll collaborate with many cross-functional teams at Apple (Engineering, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Product, etc.) as you evaluate business opportunities and maintain and implement financial operational processes. We are looking for someone with strong analytical capabilities, superior financial/quantitative horsepower, and a deep interest in Apple's products, business, and strategy. This position manages extremely confidential information and carries a very high level of responsibility and exposure.

Description
Own end-to-end revenue and margin actuals & forecasts for a specific line of business Derive financial insights to inform key business decisions and manage risk Perform detailed industry analysis and develop reporting and insights from research reports Analyze other companies' financial reports to inform business performance and maintain accurate forecast models Partner with the Decision Support and Analytics team to implement tools and processes aimed at improving insights into the business, forecasting accuracy, and overall business performance Work with varying cross-functional teams to understand ongoing regulatory risks and impacts Collaborate with technical accounting and SAP project team members to ensure new products or offers are accounted for in accordance with US GAAP principles Manage and foster relationships with key business partners to influence business strategy and communicate financial performance; "earn a seat at the table"
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant finance or analytical experience in a high-performing and growing organization
- BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience evaluating commercial opportunities, developing new business models, and creating accurate forecast models that connect numerous data points is required
- Understanding of the latest technology and user trends that can impact Apple users' experience and impact Apple's marketing strategy
- Experience in Financial Statement analysis with a deep understanding of the process of constructing a financial statement
- Ability to quickly build effective working relationships and influence cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
- Proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and solutions simultaneously
- Self-motivated and independent with the ability to deliver compelling solutions in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, with the ability to articulate results of analysis in easy-to-understand business terms
- Present data in simple and intuitive formats
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail are required
- Experience in the digital advertising and AI industry is a plus
- A high degree of proficiency in Excel is required
- Experience with SAP, Tableau, BPC, and other enterprise systems is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP is required
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
