Description
As a Screener/Integrity engineer in the System Experience team, you will triage incoming bug reports, analyze logs, and resolve priority of issues. You will help our engineering teams spot emerging issues from bug reports filed by Apple employees, external developers, and users. Utilizing automation and other tools, you will have a hand in guaranteeing the quality of our features before our users get to enjoy them. We are looking for an enthusiastic, curious, and technically savvy teammate who can juggle a variety of tasks efficiently. As a driving force behind the system experience on all Apple platforms including iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS, your contributions will help continue to push forward the devices that countless users rely on. Above all, we value passion when building impactful products.
- One year of experience diagnosing and triaging software issues.
- College level coursework in computer science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to strictly manage time spent triaging issues to ensure timely turnaround
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Being proactive, self-motivated, and detailed in every aspect of debugging
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $92,500 and $154,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
