Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Simulation and Control Systems Design Engineer to contribute to the development of new thermal control algorithms. The candidate will be responsible for developing System Identification and learning techniques to model and simulate different power/performance/thermal characteristics in our products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with an emphasis in industry experience a plus. Ph.D. or M.S with 3+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, Matlab and C++ is desired.
- Experience implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller environments.
- Deep knowledge of System Identification algorithms, Estimation Theory, Classical and Modern Control Systems Theory, and Statistical Learning Algorithms.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
