The Apple Retail Business Planning, Strategy, & Operations team sits at the center of Retail, supporting the Retail Leadership team. This team is responsible for connecting the strategies and plans across the teams, and for driving key initiatives forward.

Description

The role requires managing the organization's priorities, ensuring alignment across teams, driving critical initiatives, and supporting the Retail Business Planning, Strategy, & Operations Director in decision-making processes. The Senior Analyst will work closely with senior leadership, providing operational, project management, and organizational oversight. The ideal candidate is highly organized, strategic, and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 1. Organization-wide Communication - Serve as a primary point of contact across the Retail Leadership Team, ensuring seamless communication. Prepare presentations, reports, and strategic documents. 2. Presentation Development - Support development of key internal communications and presentations including Retail Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Meetings, Board of Directors, FY Plan, and All Team Meetings. 3. Leadership Meetings - Support recurring strategic and operational meetings such as Retail Leadership Staff(s), Executive Assistant meetings, etc. to ensure shared context, awareness, and alignment. Assemble and make the agenda available before meetings begins. Collect and prepare content - Assemble notes and action items and ensure actions are tracked and completed - Source and curate content for regular activity reports. 4. Management System - Work with Strategy + Operations Director and partners to elevate and improve on the Retail Management System, including cadence of Leadership meetings and updates aligned with Retail Strategic Focus Areas. Ensure measurement against timelines and KPI's. Connect the dots across teams and workstreams that should intersect and collaborate. Elevate risks. Use key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance and make recommendations to support and drive efficiency across the Retail teams. Identifying areas of improvement across the Retail organization and make actionable recommendations. Present the Retail Leadership Team with detailed operations analyses 5. Special Projects - Project manage special strategic initiatives for the Retail Leadership team from inception to completion and develop business insights and recommendations 6. Retail Strategy - Develop and lead key ongoing Retail-wide analyses, including researching and analyzing retail industries, technology segments, and business models, and evaluating the merits and risks of complex alternatives. Work cross-functionally to incubate ideas and develop strategies that influence the future direction of Apple's Retail investments. Craft compelling stories, supported by data, that bring strategies to life. Help transform the Retail Leadership Team's ideas into reality and monitor their progress
    This role typically requires 10+ years of work experience in strategy, finance, or business development role in a Retail-centric environment; 8+ years related experience with a strategy consulting firm or investment bank, and/or experience as a Chief of Staff at a large organization
  • Experience managing relationships and working cross-functionally within global organizations.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the big picture to executive teams, while maintaining exceptional attention to execution details.
  • Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate complex meetings with executives and partners across multiple functions in an organization.
  • Excellent program management skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent Keynote / Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
