Apple Places, which builds and preserves Apple Retail's global fleet of over 500 stores, is seeking an outstanding individual with exceptional strategic, analytical and research skills to join its worldwide Market Analysis team as a Global Projects Analyst.

Description

The Global Projects Analyst will own and manage projects, including identification of key issues, work planning and tracking, determining analytic frameworks, building tools to run analysis, developing conclusions, and presenting findings. This person serves as a liaison with functional teams (Retail Finance, Real Estate Services, Strategy and Operations, Design, etc.) to provide insights and access data. -Work within the Market Analysis team to deliver global special analyses and insights - Support the development of the five-year plan strategy - Retailer benchmarking and competitive dynamics - Technology and retail trends analysis - Manage research vendors for data and report purchases - Develop the team's data management and tracking systems - Prepare presentation documents and assist in communicating findings to all levels of management

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in market analysis at a major retailer, top tier strategy consulting firm, or a top tier investment bank with a focus on Real Estate
  • A high-degree of facility with research sources, modeling techniques, problem solving, and presentation approaches with exceptional ability to create grounded and structured analyses from disparate sources of information. This requires advanced skills in Excel and building tools to run analysis.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; strong presentation skills, including the ability to effectively translate data into actionable information to get results
  • Proven project management capabilities, including the ability to structure project activities, resource allocation, timelines, and interdependencies to drive results across simultaneous projects under tight time pressures
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in market analysis at a major retailer, a top tier strategy consulting firm, or a top tier investment bank with a focus on Real Estate
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team
  • MBA

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,300 and $161,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
