Our User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team ensures that our Apple Store Online offerings work as designed, and deliver the magical experiences that we intend. This team understands our systems deeply, creates a test plan to evaluate our new offerings, and provides final quality sign-off before they debut. In this role you will drive the advancement of test automation, increasing coverage and building efficiency and scale for this team. Description
As a UAT Automation Project Manager, you will manage and lead automation efforts for multiple medium to large-sized, global cross-functional UATs with concurrent timelines and have a direct impact on one of the world's largest e-commerce sites. You will establish automation standards, guidelines, technologies and approaches for the UAT projects to reduce testing cycles with a goal of 100% automation. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: - Developing and performing the test automation strategies, processes, and reporting for the ASO UAT team - Collaborating with multiple IS&T and Business partner teams to connect-the-dots across orgs, and partner on advancing our test automation capabilities and tooling. - Building deep subject matter expertise of our E2E digital customer journeys, business processes, and underlying systems - Working with business and technical partners to understand each digital solution that we build, and using this knowledge to define a test automation plan for each that thoroughly evaluates functionality, usability, and reliability/scale across a range of use cases. - Operating as a regional automation lead of ASO functional and cross-functional tracks for larger UAT program, and/or as part of a global team supporting work that may be covered across regions. - Lead test resources through successful execution of automated testing scenarios, while providing input into processes driving continuous improvement and alignment with industry standard methodology. - Troubleshoot, resolve and triage automation related defects. Take learnings into consideration for future product needs and roadmaps.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a directly relevant discipline
- 4-7+ years of Test Automation experience, in a field requiring a deep understanding of complex and integrated systems.
- Direct experience in IT, UAT, or PVT building and implementing test automation strategy, processes, methodology, and tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep experience performing manual and automated testing with various frameworks and tools like Java, Python, AI/ML, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, CI/CD, etc.
- Extensive IT, UAT, and/or PVT testing experience within an e-commerce or contact center landscape
- Communicates with clarity, both written and verbally
- Experience with transactional commerce systems such as SAP (S4 preferred)
- Excels at seeing around corners, identifying potential areas of concern, having a proper sense of urgency, and can rally teams to review and mitigate risks in a program.
- Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with partner teams and be seen as a trusted advisor and partner.
- Demonstrates good facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Is an outstanding teammate, is detail oriented, quality-focused, and has deep analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits a genuine passion for innovation shown through creative strategies and continuous process improvement.
- Possesses a deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), in both a Waterfall and Agile development landscape..
- PMP or Project Manager Certifications a plus
