The Producer, 3DVM Channel Store Design role oversees the development of visual merchandising strategies, including new product introductions, new store openings, and seasonal campaigns, as well as, the ongoing store layout workflow and execution for all worldwide Apple Channel programs. The scope of this role includes a wide range of deliverables including visual merchandising strategies, store design guideline documentation, worldwide store planning workflows, project timelines, budget management, and cross-functional reports. This role will work across the Marcom organization and cross-functionally across Apple, to maintain work flow, and support production schedules.

Description
This role is responsible for the creative development of materials from inception to completion by the 3DVM Visual Merchandising and Store Planning teams. The Producer is the main point of contact for the Visual Merchandising and Store Planning work, and required to work cross-functionally within Marcom, as well as across Apple, to ensure deliverables are well defined, on strategy, on time, and on budget. Responsibilities also include: - Facilitate the development of visual merchandising and store planning strategies in close partnership with the 3DVM Creative Director, Associate Creative Directors, Cross-functional Marcom, Marketing, Sales, Planning and Operations teams. - Partner with teams across Apple to generate tactical visual merchandising strategies for new product introductions, launches, and seasonal campaigns. This includes coordination of critical handoff timing with numerous teams while keeping deliverables clear for the working team. - Coordinate the store planning design and layout creation process, including design kit development and exception requests. - Organize project intake, budget and roadmap for the visual merchandising and store planning groups. Ensure financial and team resources are prioritized and applied to the appropriate initiatives. This includes process establishment and a constant pursuit of process improvement. - Drive creative solutions to ongoing business needs that simplify the team's design approach and improves the customer journey. - Manage the team's visual merchandising and store planning environment lab setup and inventories. - Lead the creation of documentation used by multiple worldwide teams during install and store layout and visual merchandising.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years producing, project managing, or program managing creative work focused on retail in-store design.
- Experience working with in-store visual merchandising strategies and execution, along with customer journey strategies.
- Experience in building documentation used by multiple global teams to execute store design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and be the point-of-contact across internal teams, including global office teams worldwide.
- Experience driving workflows & creative shares across multiple partners and departments.
- Understanding of physical environments, product display, customer journey, visual merchandising, and floor plans involved in retail store design.
- Experience managing integrated cross-functional teams (store design, visual merchandising, engineering, production, operations, finance, etc.)
- Can understand, interpret and easily speak to the strategies behind, and the benefits of strong store layout design and visual merchandising.
- Has built rapport to get results at all levels and across departments in a highly-matrixed organization.
- Thinks critically and creatively to solve problems. Approaches problems flexibly and with a willingness to adapt in order to arrive at the best solution.
- Very detail oriented with extraordinary follow-through skills. Cuts through ambiguity to find the right path forward despite haziness or uncertainty.
- Prioritizes work across visual merchandising and store planning teams while seeing around corners, to ensure awareness of bigger problems and opportunities ahead.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
