The IS&T Retail Engineering organization has the goal of providing an intuitive, seamless and inspiring customer experience interacting with our people, products and services. This Project Management Office (PMO PM) will support our Portfolio planning efforts by working across Engineering to secure timely and accurate deliverables focusing on a macro lens to Headcount Management, Capital Planning and process improvement for our Retail and Engineering Solution teams. This position seeks a candidate open to not only macro PMO responsibilities but also exposure to more detailed Engineering Project Management opportunities.

Description

The PMO Project Manager should possess strong networking capabilities, a sense of ownership and humility as they influence project drivers and hiring managers toward Capital Planning and Headcount management macro level deliverables. This role must partner across Retail Finance, IS&T Finance and various Eng PMO team members to keep the annual portfolio plan healthy. Candidate should demonstrate a comfort toward dealing with Ambiguity: Candidate to be comfortable and confident working in a dynamic environment, partnering with direct and indirect teams to problem solve. Flexibility when handling deliverable changes and ability to concurrently manage multiple macro level tasks and or initiatives. Confidence in the ability to listen and be patient with others.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project / program / portfolio management, operations, or relevant field
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • Comfortable with basic data analysis (i.e. Using Microsoft excel, Apple Numbers, or Tableau)
  • Executive presentation skills (i.e. Using Powerpoint, Apple Keynote)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Appetite to learn and support Capital planning governance activities (roadmap management & integrity)
  • Demonstrate confidence interfacing with Product & IS&T team members, EPMs + Engineering managers
  • Collaborates with others (i.e. capital planning and financial planning teams) for roadmap alignment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to organize, take action and provide options in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Confidence to speak up, ask questions, and influence change
  • Appetite for and creativity around process improvement
  • Must be able to multi-task own activities across diverse business units and geographical boundaries.
