Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Platform Development Engineer to join our Home Explorations team. Come investigate emerging technologies and develop next-generation products. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about crafting new products with meaningful and disruptive impact to the world.

• Programming skills, preferably with C and objective-oriented languages such as C++ or Objective-C
• Experience with Swift highly desired
• Multi-threading experience desired
• Non-blocking, asynchronous interface coding experience

• Comfortable at middle-ware layer in OS daemons
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others
• Passion for product quality and an attention to detail
• Self-driven and thrives when facing open-ended tasks
• Passionate and inquisitive, and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
