Description

* Ensuring the pre-silicon quality of key media processing hardware such as Apple's Video and Display and Apple's Neural Engines * Reviewing architecture specifications to develop comprehensive test and coverage plans * Developing the verification environment and tests to implement test plans, using Object Oriented tools, in particular SystemVerilog and UVM * Working closely with design and architecture teams to understand the functional and performance goals of the design; and working together to make the design-under-test work under all specified circumstances * Triaging and debugging functional and performance issues with the design-under-test * Handling bug tracking and coverage convergence * Staying abreast with design specs, conducting test plan reviews, and developing block, subsystem and full chip tests * Working independently and managing deliverables to align with the project goals plus support multi-functional engineering efforts
  • * Basic knowledge of computer architecture and digital design
  • * Knowledge of Verilog and Verilog simulators
  • * Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl
  • * Experience with low-level programming of complex computer systems in
  • * C/C++/assembly
  • * Experience with UVM or System Verilog for verification
  • * Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • * Strong communication skills along with the dedication to undertake diverse challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSEE/MSEE or MSCE program or related field

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
