Description

- Implement preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and perform component-level repairs to maximize uptime of semiconductor R&D tools - Analyze equipment data, implement upgrades and modifications, and develop countermeasures to prevent failures, contributing to increased yield and reduced operational costs. - Oversee maintenance schedules, manage spare parts inventory, and handle small to medium-sized projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. - Adhere to all safety protocols, generate detailed reports, and develop emergency recovery plans to ensure continuous and safe operation of critical R&D equipment. - Independently address equipment issues and act as the primary point of contact during off-hours, ensuring seamless support for ongoing operations - Flexibility to work shifts outside of 9am-5pm

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience within a semiconductor R&D or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing Vacuum wafer fabrication equipment (such as Dry etch, ALD, PECVD, PVD or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing principles and processes
  • Experience with CMP and backend equipment is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Dedication to safety and quality
  • Experience with project management and inventory control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proficiency with computer applications, including data analysis tools and documentation software (Microsoft equivalents are acceptable)
  • AutoCAD or Solidworks is a plus

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $122,300 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
