Description
We're seeking a talented manager to lead a team of digital experience production engineers, who will ensure quality, curated, digital content is produced and delivered on time to Apple stores. This work will be achieved in collaboration with Apple Retail, WWPM, Software Engineering and IS&T organizations. Successful candidates are humble, curious, creative, tenacious, organized, have clarity of thought and can lead through ambiguity. - Manage a team of production engineers and content managers, who will work in collaboration with hardware, software, design, merchandising and marketing teams, to produce engaging and quality digital experiences, and to deploy this content to Apple stores globally - Manage upstream intake of ideation, curation, prioritization and development of tech-enabled digital and demo experiences, by working with business partners, including retail, design, merchandising and marketing leadership - Manage the E2E content production process. Establish a management system that aligns all teams to support seamless execution, with detailed timelines, processes, responsibilities for creation, integration, validation and deployment, as well as leadership communication. - Manage and improve the process of loading images onto devices at the factory
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of digital experience management or interactive technology management, including curation and prioritization of business requests, management of deployment of content bundles to retail stores, triaging technical issues reported by retail stores, developing mitigation plans, workarounds as well as steps to resolution in partnership with engineering teams, executive updates and communications planning as well as execution
- 3+ years people management, team lead, or vendor management experience
- Hands-on technical content production, including familiarity with tooling, bundling and deployment procedures.
- Hands-on technical device and configuration management, including familiarity with Jamf/MDM systems, tooling to restore/update pre-released operating systems, and sideload apps
- Experience writing and negotiating technical requirements with technical engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with iOS, MacOS, visionOS and Apple technologies and Apple devices
- Familiarity with AV systems
- Experience launching new retail store openings and supporting executive events
- Experience launching new products, experiences and applications to stores, including coordination with store employees
- Excellent communication, executive update skills
- Role models inclusive leadership behaviors and builds, develops and retains diverse teams
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $286,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
