The Logistics Professional Services (LPS) Analyst will oversee and support Data Center Logistics Professional Services programs, processes, and procedures. The role provides logistics services to teams and business groups outside of data center operations to streamline operations and execute projects, driving cost savings through shared resource management across the organization.

Description

The LPS Analyst manages various logistics challenges within a manufacturing environment, including supply chain services, training development, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import/export licensing, shipment coordination, and third-party warehousing. This role ensures customer requirements are met by evaluating customer support commitments and acting as a liaison between sales and operations teams, coordinating product knowledge and supporting production planning. The LPS Analyst will also participate in process improvements and develop training materials, procedures, and professional service plans.
  • Experience in data center operations, operations management, supply chain, logistics or material management or similar field
  • Familiarity with with various enterprise resource planning systems and/or inventory control/ticketing software such as ERP, SAP or other
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with daily tools of the trade Google/Apple/Microsoft Suite of applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively communicate with team members and cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Familiarity with a Foreign Trade Zone.
  • In-depth understanding of inventory control and the cycle count process.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment as it pertains to dock/warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Ability to train others.
