We are looking for an expert payments and technology attorney to join Apple's Wallet and Payments legal team, with a primary focus on product counseling, but also on other commercial, consumer, and legal matters.

Description
You will be responsible for advising and providing support to the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team on a wide range of issues related to offering financial products and other services through digital wallets, including digital IDs. Key Responsibilities: Deep understanding of laws, regulations and industry standards that apply to services provided by Apple and its partners. Serve as a product counsel and advise business and product teams on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to digital wallets, payments, and commerce. Advise on legal aspects of Apple's relationships with third parties. Draft and negotiate agreements with Apple's partners and customers. You will be part of a close-knit local team and a global team spanning across the US, Europe, Asia and around the world.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant legal experience
- Significant experience providing product advice for mobile wallets, payments systems, alternative payments, and other related services
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
- Knowledge of and familiarity with laws, regulations and network standards impacting payments and financial services
- JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to learn quickly and support new areas of regulation and technology
- Strong work ethic and collaboration skills
- Experience working in a regulated environment or with governmental entities
- Knowledge of digital IDs and other services related to identity verification
- Strong intellectual property law, privacy law and technology transactions background
- Able to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to lead, take action and provide direction in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to get results in diverse, fast-paced environments
- Strong analytical capability with attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and partner at all levels of the organization
- Experience working in an international team
