You will work in a range of capacities from team leadership, resource planning, executive calendar support, event coordination and implementing process improvements. This is a dynamic position in a fast paced environment so it requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of integrity and professionalism. We're seeking a collaborative team member with a friendly work style, who's well-organized, proactive, able to effectively multi-task, and take initiative while displaying exceptional judgement to provide direct support to our Engineering Director for Apple TV & Sports.

Description

As a member of the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) Operations Team, this role will be managing a team of Admins across multiple offices, ensuring the team is meeting organizational needs and employees are supported in their growth & development. Supporting the Engineering Director for Apple TV & Sports with all things related to scheduling, organization logistics, budget management, and process. Director calendar management: Coordinate meetings and conference calls, booking domestic / international travel arrangements. Building and facilities support: Space planning, facilities needs, office supplies and equipment, building access, etc. Fiscal planning support: Knowledge and implementation of finance policies for internal and external orders. Support logistics and operations for a growing team of engineers. Providing backup support for other admins as needed. Ability to lift up to 20lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 + years of Administrative Assistant experience supporting senior level management
  • 2 + years of direct people management experience
  • A self starter, able to utilize good judgment to make appropriate decisions
  • The ability to multitask, remain calm and confident during stressful situations
  • Curious, flexible and a dedicated problem solver
  • Able to build collaborative partnerships across multiple job functions and levels, be a strong team player
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
  • A Bachelor's degree, AA or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong sense of professionalism; able to work autonomously on assignments and handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Proficiency with iCal, Keynote, Mail, eApproval, Quip, Box, Confluence and other OSX based office systems a plus
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on all matters pertaining to the team, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature. Prioritize and determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgment to reflect the Director's style and organization policy, while maintaining the highest level of discretion.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $34.60 and $61.50/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
