In this role, you will be an integral part of a larger internal communications team that supports a mix of executive communication, organizational communication, and programs. You will be dedicated to providing communication support for internal programs, engaging and informing employees through strategic and creative content. Additionally, you will collaborate with PR and Marketing teams on university engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly creative individual who loves technology and thrives on exploring and executing the best ways to inform and connect with employees and external audiences.

Description

In this role, you will: Function as a communication expert in partnership with program teams to engage and inform employees in the Hardware Engineering and Hardware Technologies organizations through various programs. Ensure all communication aligns with organizational goals. Support a mix of communication strategy and content development over various media (e.g., presentations, written content, web). Collaborate with Hardware Development, PR and Marketing teams on university engagement initiatives. Identify and implement design and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and impact of internal communications. Manage projects from ideation to execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality communication deliverables. Experience and Skills: Expertise in communication strategy and content development. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work across various channels and projects.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years of internal communication experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in developing and executing engaging communication strategies.
  • Proficient in content creation, including strong writing and design skills, particularly in creating presentations.
  • Proficient in common design software, including Apple Keynote. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus. Willingness to learn new tools as needed is essential.
  • Creative and innovative thinker. Work examples are plus.
  • Exceptional skills in visual storytelling, transforming complex communication challenges into compelling visuals.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a history of effective teamwork across various teams.
  • General understanding of technology and enthusiasm for working with technical subjects.

Education & Experience

A degree in communication, marketing, public relations, or a related communication discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,700 and $212,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
