Inductive Power Transfer DSP Architect (Wireless Power)

Cupertino, CA

Summary

Posted: Mar 10, 2025

Role Number:200593912

The Wireless Power Technology team is pioneering new ways of charging your devices. Our flagship product's name, the MagSafe charger, says it all. It is magnetic, it charges fast, and above all, it is safe! Bringing all these aspects together requires careful orchestration of electromagnetism, passive and active electronics, state-of-the-art safety algorithms, communication over inductive links, and, of course, an appealing product design. Our products touch millions of lives each day... with consistency and dependability. We adhere to rigorous, data-driven engineering principles to ensure optimal performance in every conceivable scenario. We are looking for a hands-on digital signal-processing (DSP) architect who will design, integrate, and ship next-generation communication architecture for inductive charging products. The successful candidate will have a strong grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals, including DSP, digital communication, and analog/power circuits. They will be eager to learn and explore new domains, particularly wireless charging. Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (SPICE, MATLAB, C, Python) is essential. Collaboration with system-integration teams will be crucial for the successful productization of these technologies.
