We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Event Project Manager to own the planning, execution, and delivery of inclusion and diversity events. The Event Project Manager will develop and implement end-to-end event strategies that align with objectives and drive engagement. This role requires strong project management skills, a strategic approach, and the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners to ensure successful event delivery.

Description

EVENT STRATEGY & PLANNING - Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand positioning. - Collaborate with key partners to identify event objectives, target audiences, and success metrics. - Create event roadmaps, budgets, timelines, and detailed project plans for all events. END-TO-END EVENT MANAGEMENT - Lead all aspects of event planning and execution, including concept development, venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination. - Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to timelines. - Lead post-event follow-ups, including debriefs, data collection, and performance analysis to improve future events. STAKEHOLDER & VENDOR MANAGEMENT - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. - Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring the best value for budget. - Coordinate with appropriate teams to ensure brand consistency across all event touch points. BUDGET & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT - Develop and handle event budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within scope. - Allocate resources effectively to optimize event outcomes while meeting financial targets. RISK MANAGEMENT - Identify potential risks associated with event planning and execution, creating mitigation strategies to ensure event success. - Ensure all events are compliant - Event Innovation & Improvement - Continuously seek out ways to innovate and enhance the attendee experience. - Track and analyze event performance metrics to assess ROI and advise future event strategies.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in event project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful corporate events.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Should be dedicated, highly motivated, and able to learn quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Event planning certification
  • Structured approach to stakeholder engagement and planning communications.
  • Experience in creating dashboards for budget tracking and metrics for monthly, quarterly, annual reviews
  • Accurate and timely reporting ability
  • Ability to connect with dispersed internal/external teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools and event management software.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to problem-solving

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
