Description
This is a unique opportunity to lead Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) supporting our R&D/Ops lines of business with responsibility for a team of Diversity Business Partners. This role will provide senior level leadership, oversight and management of the R&D/Ops Business Enablement team, partnering with the People and Business leadership teams to lead a critical and strategic imperative for the company - integrating inclusion and diversity into everything we do. You will be the senior strategist, decision-maker and voice on I&D critical priorities. In partnership with these respective leadership teams, this role is responsible for the design, development, and ongoing support and scale of diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and solutions that align and support both R&D/Ops and Pan-Apple operational and strategic priorities. You are an integral member of the I&D Business Enablement leadership team working in tight collaboration across the broader People ecosystem. You have the energy, drive, vision, and sheer tenacity to further build a dynamic I&D function in R&D/Ops, and a comprehensive strategy and strategic framework for our lines of business. You are an active change agent and part of a guiding coalition to further broaden our I&D operating model and impact across Apple.
Minimum Qualifications
- A successful candidate should have a strong combination of I&D, Talent Management, Strategy, and Leadership Development, and have achieved a track record of consistent success with proven leadership experience.
- Expert knowledge of I&D and strong business acumen, with proven ability to develop I&D strategic direction including data analysis and identification of opportunities and solutions
- Experience driving wholesale change and operating and leading I&D at scale
- Advanced understanding of I&D techniques and theory as workforce research and application
- Strong business sense, with experience leading a P&L and/or integrating I&D into revenue-driving activities/functions
- Strong leadership skills, agile with the ability to inspire, mobilize and achieve impact through others
- Resilient and determined to ensure initiatives achieve their full benefit
- Ability to build deep and business-relevant I&D/ consulting/coaching skills in others
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent relationship building, influence, and leadership skills at peer and top management levels
- External partnership engagement (community/customer facing role experience) with Tech, Operations, Retail, and/or Sales/Marketing organizations
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to see around corners and add value to leadership decisions
- Has a learner mentality with the ability to recognize when new skills are needed to continue to be successful in this role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively consult and support multiple, distinct client groups
- Excellent execution, process management, planning and organizational skills
- Capable of operating effectively and driving impact without the support of a 1:1 I&D:LOB infrastructure
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $211,800 and $317,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
