Description

As the Head of Acquisition and Retention, you will lead a team responsible for developing and executing initiatives aimed at expanding the subscriber base and maximizing customer lifetime value for Apple Music. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive subscriber growth strategies aligned with Apple Music's overall business objectives. - Subscriber Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire qualified subscribers through direct and third party channels - Retention and Engagement: Develop strategic programs and optimization initiatives to enhance subscriber retention and engagement - Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of subscriber growth initiatives, identifying areas of improvement Pricing: Own pricing recommendation and implementation across 160+ markets,

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in streaming, subscriber growth, digital marketing, or related roles within the media and entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of driving subscriber acquisition and retention in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • A global mindset that understands the nuances across countries and regions and how to scale programs and initiatives globally.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • A demonstrated people leader who builds capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A proven leader of successful and high performing teams who is also able to operate within a complex matrix organization
  • Comfort with leveraging data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • A highly skilled storyteller who is able to build business cases and effective narrative for senior executives
  • Experienced in balancing multiple priorities, cross functional collaboration and work streams, working with limited resources
  • Outstanding ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and demonstrate resourcefulness.
  • An individual with natural curiosity and with an innovative and big picture approach
  • Passion and sensibility for the media entertainment industry.
  • Solid understanding of product management and knowledge of roadmaps and engineering developments.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $211,700 and $318,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
