Description
In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you will: - Design and run automated tests to verify the design of SoC & SW display pipeline blocks - Design and run automated tests to validate the end-to-end display user experience - Develop automation tools and frameworks to scale test operations - Identify and prioritize key issues using objective, numerical assessments of user impact - Partner with silicon, hardware, and software teams to drive key issues to closure - Leverage crisp data to influence product quality decisions and champion the customer experience in every phase of the development process
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years in a test development or test engineering role or equivalent experience developing SW test automation, tools, frameworks
- Experience developing in Python or Swift or Objective-C and familiar with databases, SQL and scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience testing embedded software
- Design and development experience using object oriented programming
- Experience building large-scale test automation, CI/CD pipelines with deployment tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub
- Experience leading/managing projects and teams
- Knowledge of modern display technologies (OLED, miniLED, etc.)
- Knowledge of color science concepts
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
