This person will collaborate very closely and cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Analytics and other teams to ensure success. Description
Analyze and measure data quality from various data sources Define metrics and evaluations that measure data health and quality Experiment with algorithms and machine learning to improve data quality Utilize human input as feedback to algorithms and machine learning models Identify patterns from data anomalies to help detect issues Collaborate cross-functionally across many teams Create clear and concise documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical area, e.g. Computer Science
- 7 years + experience with a programming or query language, e.g. Python, SQL
- 7 years + experience as a data analyst or data scientist
- Proficiency in big data technologies, e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Hive
- Proven experience in rule-based algorithms and machine learning models and techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience with statistical analysis and sampling strategies
- Experience with data modeling
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with others
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams to complete critical milestones under pressure with tight deadlines
- Travel may be necessary from time to time, both domestic & international
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the music industry, related metadata and data models
- Experience with Tableau
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
