We're looking for an excellent software engineer to support the ARKit algorithms team. This is a team dedicated to develop Computer vision and Machine Learning algorithms. Our engineers are pragmatic solvers working on challenging realtime vision/perception problems to deliver experiences that are impactful, meaningful, and influential. As a member of the fast-paced ARKit group --the team that released the world's largest platform for 2D/3D computer vision algorithms-- you will have a unique and rewarding opportunity to innovative and contribute to the development of the upcoming next big products that will delight and inspire millions of Apple customers every day. • MS degree in Computer Vision and/or Robotics or comparable industry career, with at least 3 years of experience delivering products using powerful computer vision & machine learning technologies.
• C/C++ and Python development skills
• Software design, problems solving, and debugging skills
• Experience with CV libraries / frameworks
• Solid fundamentals on computer vision, 2D/3D geometry
• Strong communication and teamwork skills (great teammate, self-motivated, and fast learner)

• PhD degree in Computer Vision and/or Robotics
• Familiarity with macOS, iOS operating systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with build systems Xcode / CMake (preferred)
• Expertise with internal CV/ML frameworks for MacOS, iOS
• Expertise on development of real time SLAM/Relocalization systems using vision, WIFI, depth, inertial sensors
• Expertise on development realtime visual perception solutions based on ML for place recognition

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
