This is an exciting opportunity, rich in analysis and playing a critical role in supporting strategic decision making. This role will report to the Head of Content Strategy & Planning and will contribute to the overall financial planning, analysis, and strategy for Apple TV+, Apple's premium streaming service. The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to, (1) analyzing content performance, cost, and valuation, (2) will play a key part in contributing to the greenlighting process, and (3) partnering with Business Affairs to provide a finance perspective on deal terms. As this is a start-up initiative within Apple, the right person for this role will should be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while juggling multiple priorities.

Description
- Develop and report KPIs on content value and efficiency as it relates to content performance, subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement - Build and maintain film ultimate for purposes of financial reporting, and planning in accordance with GAAP - Drive deliverables for greenlight process for original content, working with Creative Development, Production, Business Affairs, and Production Finance - Collaborate with Business Affairs to develop backend participation models and advise on various deal structures for licensed and self-produced content - Partner with Content FP&A and scheduling team to be an expert in slate management - Develop and maintain slate management reporting to assist in business decisions - Prepare keynote presentations for executive team - Work with IS&T teams to implement and enhance financial systems - Drive process improvements - Assist in ad hoc requests and projects
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years finance experience required
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Economics (or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with significant experience building complex models through excel and other tools
- Strategic thinker that is detail oriented, while able to keep sight of the big picture
- Excellent oral/presentation and written communication skills with all levels of management
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, grasp new concepts, and problem solve
- Experience with Tableau and extensive working knowledge of Excel and Keynote preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- MBA preferred
- Entertainment experience highly preferred
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,500 and $181,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
