Role Summary

As an Executive on GE Vernova's Brand Marketing team, you will be part of a dynamic, fun team responsible for building, growing and protecting a leading, loved and iconic brand.

In this role you will help pioneer new ways to grow the GE Vernova brand and connect our story to the world through a connected digital experience and energizing storytelling. Focused on one of our highest strategic priority areas, this leader will be responsible for building the digital marketing strategy vision for the GE Vernova website and global digital properties and for planning, developing and delivering a content strategy that is as innovative as the company behind it.

Partnering with leaders across GE Vernova including the Executive Leadership Team, this leader will play a critical role in channeling GE's 130 years of innovation while at the same time helping to build and amplify a new, modern, vibrant brand.

What you'll do

  • Lead the digital marketing strategy for GE Vernova including the development and execution of comprehensive digital marketing plans, digital marketing campaigns, and growth in online brand presence and engagement.
  • Lead the web content and design strategy for gevernova.com
  • Lead the global social marketing strategy for GE Vernova
  • Lead the central content strategy (including the development of a central editorial calendar) focused on the key themes and stories that will strengthen GE Vernova's position in market across audiences
  • Create and tell stories that are contagious and reveal the human impact of our technologies
  • Collaborate across teams/ functions across the company to 'connect the dots' and unearth the stories that matter most - creates a One Team culture
  • Lead GE Vernova's CEO's social strategy by positioning and amplifying his voice as the industry leader; directly connects and influences content and voice

Essential responsibilities

  • Brings deep understanding and expertise of the digital marketing ecosystem - how to maximize reach, effectiveness and impact globally
  • Translate business strategy into simple, compelling stories backed by an intentional and measured content strategy
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to identify opportunities to bring the GE Vernova brand to life through content, thought-leadership, infographics, visual story-telling platforms, videos etc.
  • Leads and manages the content and design strategy for the GE Vernova website; partners closely with the Digital Technology team and agencies to flawlessly execute on that vision
  • Leads the strategy, content and execution of GE Vernova's global social ecosystem
  • Leads the central content strategy for GE Vernova inclusive of an annual editorial calendar
  • Connects marketing strategy to cultural trends to disrupt and build brand value with core and new audiences
  • Sees beyond B2B to B2H - humanizes our storytelling, deepens connections and grows brand love
  • Communicates effectively and influentially - ability to rally teams around a shared goal, manage and bring senior stakeholders along, and build relationships in a matrixed environment
  • Applies rigorous analytical focus - clearly defines success, KPIs and holds a high bar for continuous improvement; prioritizes and leads an agenda that maximizes impact and optimizes budget
  • Successfully motivates, manages and brings out the best in direct and indirect teams including agency partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge/ experience
  • 15+ years' brand, marketing, or related experience
  • Significant experience and proven track record in digital marketing strategy, brand storytelling, content creation, and agency management

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $350,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits.
